First, let us remind you that everything stated in the MSDS is absolutely true.
Wording of the different chapters of this MSDS may let the reader think that oxygen dihydride, a primary alcohol, comes with a number of frightening risks which require harsh safety precautions.

How to decipher this important document?
Along the years we were asked a lot of questions about the MSDS.
MSDS must be written according to the ISO 11014-1 Standard issued in March1994 entitled ''Safety data sheet for chemical products-Part 1: Content and order of sections'' to meet the European Directive 91/155/ECC
This MSDS format contains 16 standardized chapters. Each of them has a specific number.

A meeting will be held in Berlin on Nov 10 by the Working Group 4 (WG4) of the CEN (European Committee for standardisation) to begin working on a revised version of ISO 3452 series standards; in the same agenda work is planned to talk about viewing conditions for Penetrant Testing and Magnetic Testing.

I- Introduction
Dry developers are used in penetrant testing in conjunction with fluorescent penetrants only.
In some cases, the fluorescent penetrant is nevertheless used without any developer.

Some requirements ask for a monthly or weekly check of the density of the dry developer in the duststorm cabinet.
This requirement makes us uncomfortable.
